Emsworth Concert Band

Formed in 1986 as the Emsworth Marching Band, the band was first established to enable local young musicians to improve their music and to enjoy being part of a team. During the early years, the band took part in marching displays at various events before choosing to concentrate on concert work and a more demanding repertoire. Now called The Emsworth Concert Band, the band continues to go from strength and strength whilst remaining a community wind band that encourages local musicians to stretch their potential.

Many former band members have gone on to have successful military careers, serving with all three services, whilst others have become Bandmasters and Directors of Music.
