Set within the beautiful grounds of the Stansted Estate, the Stansted House Trail Run near Portsmouth offers an unforgettable blend of woodland paths, open countryside, and historic charm. With distances including a Half Marathon, 15k, and 10k, this event is perfect for beginners building confidence and experienced trail runners looking for a scenic early-season challenge.

As you head out onto the course, you'll be immersed in the lush greenery of the South Downs. The route weaves through vibrant forests, where sunlight breaks through the canopy and creates a peaceful, atmospheric setting. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, deer, woodland birds, and other creatures often make an appearance along the trail.

The course opens into sweeping fields dotted with wildflowers, offering beautiful views across the surrounding hills and countryside. Running beneath the impressive silhouette of Stansted House, with its striking historic architecture, adds a unique and memorable touch to this special event.

Whether you're taking on the Half Marathon, 15k, or 10k, you'll finish your run with a true sense of accomplishment. Every participant is greeted at the finish line with a well-earned metal medal, a refreshing drink, and a selection of finisher goodies.

Useful Information

  • You will collect your running bib number on arrival at the event. Please bring your QR code with you on the day and head to 'Registration' for collection.

  • Save The Event Phone Number: 02033 717 156.

  • Bib numbers should be displayed clearly on the front of you.

  • We are plastic free, please bring a reusable cup / bottle for use at the water stations.

  • There will be First Aid support located at the on-course aid stations and event centre

Q: Can I run with a buggy/pushchair?
A: Unfortunately, due to the nature of our events, buggies are not permitted.

Q; Are dogs allowed?
A: Unfortunately no dogs are allowed at this event.

Q: Can I buy a ticket on the gate?
A: Yes, as long as the event has not sold out. On the day entries are available and are subject to on the day pricing. Please see the event page for more information.

Q: How do I enter a group?
A: After clicking book now on the event page you then have the ability to add each member of your team to the cart.

Follow Brown Heritage signs from A3 (M) Emsworth exit or A27 Havant exit. Enter the Estate through the South Entrance (unless directed otherwise for specific events)
