FAQ
Q: Can I bring my own food & drink?
A: You are welcome to bring your own picnic, snacks and alcohol to all of our Adventure Cinema events. Glass is not permitted at any venue, so please ensure all food and drink is brought in non-glass containers.
Food, snacks, soft drinks and a bar will be available at most events and we recommend bringing cash as not all vendors will take card payments. We will always ask our traders to cater for all dietaries, but if you have specific requirements, it is advisable to bring a little something along with you, just in case there isn’t something suitable at the event. No BBQs are allowed on site.
Q: Is seating provided?
A: Unless you have purchased a Premium or Director’s View ticket, you will need to bring your own seating. A Premium ticket includes a luxury deckchair in a prime position. Director’s View tickets include a front row director’s chair, and a blanket and Adventure Cinema treat bag.
Please note that premium and director’s tickets are priced the same for adults and children
Q: Can I buy a ticket on the door?
A: Tickets must be purchased in advance online only. Our events sell out quickly so book your tickets while you still can.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: All of our events are outdoor and will go ahead in the event of rain. Please check the forecast on the day of the screening and come prepared for the conditions. If it does rain we just need to call upon the Great British spirit, dress accordingly, and live for the moment!
Our team closely monitor weather forecasts in the lead up to our shows and should there ever be any concern regarding the weather, we will inform all ticket holders by email/text but otherwise it can be assumed that shows will be going ahead as planned.
Q: Do you offer tickets for carers?
A: We offer a complimentary standard ticket for a carer to attend. Please email help@adventurecinema.co.uk with your order number and we will issue the complimentary carer’s ticket. Please note, this does not apply to premium tickets and identification may be required upon entry.
Q: Are children allowed to attend?
A: Our staff may ask for proof of age for age restricted films. Please bring official photo ID with your date of birth, such as a passport, driving licence or student card. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Children under 2 go free and do not need a ticket. Film classifications always apply and we may refuse entry to anyone who is underage or unaccompanied.
