So It Goes

A musical journey through the ups and downs of romance — from flirtation and foolishness to longing, disappointment and everything in between. With songs by Cole Porter, Gershwin, Sondheim, Weill and others, So It Goes explores the many ways we fall for each other, get it wrong, pick ourselves up, and carry on.

Biography

Originally from the UK, Nicola has been singing for many years and has had the pleasure of studying with a number of vocal teachers along the way. Although classically trained, her real love has always been musical theatre and the wonderful world of cabaret, particularly the opportunity to tell a story and connect with an audience through song.

She enjoys a varied repertoire, from much-loved musical theatre favourites to classic and contemporary cabaret songs, and brings a thoughtful and expressive approach to each performance. For Nicola, the words and story behind a song are just as important as the music itself.

With a warm and natural stage presence, Nicola hopes to create performances that are both entertaining and meaningful, sharing her love of the music and the simple pleasure of a good song with her audience.
