Fumi Otsuki was born in Sendai, Japan, and studied the violin with Gerhard Bosee and Masayoshi Kumai there, and Shizuko Ishii in Tokyo.He then moved to the U.K. to study violin with Jill Thoday, piano with Antonietta Notariello and composition with Nigel Clarke at The Royal Academy of Music, and then violin with Kun Hu and piano with Raymond Banning at Trinity College of Music in London. Further to this he has attended masterclasses in Dartington and Couchevel/private violin lessons in London with Jean-Jacques Kantorow, Tomotada Soh, Sigrun Edvaldsdottir, Andrea Jacobs-Gajic and Winifred Roberts.He has given many concerts at cathedrals and churches, including the cathedrals of Southwark in London, Guildford, Portsmouth, Leicester and Newport, St Pewter in St Albans, Holy Trinity in Stratford-Upon-Avon, St Nicholas and Unitarian in Brighton, St Mary’s in Portchester and of course Holy Trinity in Gosport!
Gisela Meyer was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. She studied piano with side subject cello and piano accompaniment in Frankfurt, Weimar and at the GSMD, London.
Later she added singing, studying privately with Jessica Cash for several years. Gisela is freelancing as pianist, accompanist and soprano and teaches various musical subjects privately and at the City Lit in London. She performs regularly in concerts as soloist, accompanist and in chamber ensembles. Gisela also enjoys singing and playing in various Chamber groups.Since 2020, she started performing as a Singing Pianist and has also performed classical songs to her solo recitals, accompanying herself.

Q: Are dogs allowed inside Stansted House?
A: Unfortunately only assistance dogs are allowed inside Stansted House
Q. How are tickets delivered?
A. Secure barcoded e-tickets are delivered immediately by e-mail for you to print at home or just save them to your smartphone/tablet to be scanned on screen. Please enter your e-mail address carefully when booking.
Q. Where can I purchase tickets?
A. Tickets are available online and only via our website - we use the ticketing platform www.tickettailor.com, you will be directed to their website via our event page to purchase your tickets.
As long as there is still availability you will also be able to buy tickets on the door.
Q. Is there disabled car parking available?
A. Yes, car parking is on the forecourt directly in front of the House.
Q. Can I bring my carer?
A. You are welcome to bring your carer - They do not need to purchase a ticket, though please provide proof of your carer entitlement.
Q. Can I show my ticket on my smartphone/tablet rather than printing it out?
A. Yes, as long as you are able to fully download and save the ticket to the device, and open it on the screen, the scanners will be able to verify it. Please ensure that you have downloaded the document before you arrive on site, as we cannot guarantee enough coverage to do so once you arrive.
Q. I am buying tickets under my details but intend to give them to somebody as a gift – will this be ok?
A. Yes. This is no problem - we suggest adding the gift recipients name to the order but your email address in case of any issues. You will however not be able to change the email address on this order at a later date.
