Calligraphy Workshop with Jodie Rose Calligraphy

Join Jodie Rose Calligraphy for an introduction to pointed pen modern calligraphy in the beautiful setting of Stansted House's Blue Drawing Room.
On arrival, you will be given your own calligraphy kit, including dip pen holder, nib, ink and worksheets to use throughout the session and to take home.
You will learn the basic strokes, practice writing the lowercase alphabet, learn how to join the letters up to make words, and how to add in simple flourishes to elevate your writing. Jodie will also show you techniques which will help you to find your own style! You will finish the workshop with a handwritten greetings card.
There will be plenty of one-to-one tuition throughout, so you will have enough time and attention to develop your own style.
