JUST FOR FUN – LOCAL PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

To encourage community and creativity whilst enjoying the great outdoors we are running a fun photography competition for keen photographers of all ages and abilities.

​

We are extremely lucky to be able to keep Stansted Forest open for the local community to access fresh air to aid their mental and physical well-being. We would like to celebrate this by running a photography competition featuring images taken from around the estate and local villages.

​

These photos could be of the wonderful vistas in Stansted Forest, individual trees, wildlife and flowers or local landmarks, attractive architecture or anything you find interesting about your village. We live in an area where beauty is all around and we think it would be wonderful to show our gratitude through photography.

​

We encourage entrants to be as creative as they like but also to respect the countryside code and stick to designated paths and the social distancing measures that are currently in place. We also request that public act in accordance with government instructions concerning essential travel and only take photos whilst on your daily walk.

​

All entries will be displayed on our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as here on our website and, when the house re-opens, in an exhibition for our visitors to vote on. The public will have the chance to cast their votes via our website and the winner will be announced at the end of the season (end of September).

​

The winning photos will be featured on the homepage of our website and their creators will receive either an afternoon tea for two at The Pavilion Tearoom or a goody hamper from Stansted Farm Shop. Plus, a family ticket to any event of their choice at Stansted Park for 2021.

• 10 years and under

• 11 – 15 years

• 16 years and over
