MILES MASKELL - MY WIFE'S CANARY AND OTHER ANECDOTES

A talk, house tour and two course buffet lunch

Tuesday 23rd January 2024

11:30am - 3:30pm

Miles Maskell has lived a varied and adventurous life and has travelled widely as amply demonstrated in his anecdotes. He was born and lives in London but was educated in Cape Town and at Cambridge University.

He has been a City of London wine merchant, owned two restaurants and a champagne bar as well as a company letting top-of-the- range properties in Southern France. He has climbed mountains, shot wild boar, piloted 4-seater aircraft, parachuted in New Zealand and ridden the Cresta Run in St Moritz.  He is also a sculptor.

His talk entitled ‘ My Wife’s Canary and Other Anecdotes’ will be a thoroughly witty and highly entertaining gallop through the amusing incidents of his life which he has either experienced himself or been recounted to him by his many,  varied and extremely well-connected relations and closest friends.

This will be a very charming and uplifting occasion in the intimate setting of Stansted House. As well as Miles’ talk, the ticket price includes a two course buffet lunch and Tour of the House.
