Step inside Stansted House this December, after the sun has set, and enjoy an evening tour of the beautiful Edwardian mansion.
Your evening will commence with a glass of fizz by the fire as our pianist performs in the Music Room, welcoming you to this beautiful space with a mixture of jazz and festive music. You will then enjoy an upstairs, downstairs experience as one of our knowledgeable tour guides shows you around the stunning State Rooms and extensive Servants Quarters, beautifully dressed for the festive season.
Discover how the Earls of Bessborough celebrated Christmas, learn about the Queen Mother's visit to Stansted Park in December 1939, and find out what life was like for the servants during the festive season.

Are dogs allowed inside Stansted House?
Only assistance dogs are allowed inside Stansted House.
Can I take photographs inside the House?
Photographs without the use of flash may be taken inside of Stansted House. Tripods are not allowed inside the House.
Accessibility
These guided tours are accessible with a step-free route available around the House. Please note however that the lift may not be able to accommodate some motorised wheelchairs or mobility scooters.
