Classic Cars
We have an array of beautiful classic cars joining us for the festival - find Alfa Romeos, Rolls Royce, Bentleys, MG's, as well as a T34 Tank and Ferret Scout Car.

T34 Tank
Built in 1944, the T34 Tank served during the capture of Berlin in 1945, before being sold to Yugoslavia (Now Bosnia) in the 1960’s. During the 1990’s, it fought on the side of the Croatians during the Balkans War, still on active duty after more than 50 years.
It was bought over to the United Kingdom in 2003 by a military vehicle dealer straight from Bosnia. He predominantly bought ex. US WW2 armour from the former Yugoslavia - Mostly M18 Hellcats M36 Jacksons - as it was generally the last place that WW2 armour was used.

Ferret Scout Car
Come and see a real Ferret Scout Car at the Stansted Summer Festival! The Ferret armoured car, also commonly called the Ferret scout car, is a British armoured fighting vehicle designed and built for reconnaissance purposes. The Ferret was produced between 1952 and 1971 by the UK company Daimler. It was widely used by regiments in the British Army, as well as the RAF Regiment and Commonwealth countries throughout the period.
