Learning at Stansted Park

We welcome visits by groups of all ages and abilities to Stansted Park and we are easily accessible for coaches and signed from the A3 (M) South junction 2 for Emsworth and A27 junction for Havant within easy reach of Portsmouth and Chichester. [Click here to go to school visits].
Our extensive and unique fully-furnished Servant’s Quarters are an extraordinary contrast with the splendid mansion rooms above. There are hundreds of original artefacts and unique family portraits on display.

There are two types of Group Visit for adults to the House and Chapel:
- · Guided tours maximum group size 50 (to be divided into smaller groups): by appointment only, March-October outside normal house opening times or
- · Free-flow group visits (individuals go at their own pace): by appointment only, Easter-September during normal house opening times .
A tour of the Mansion, including the ground floor State Rooms, the servants’ quarters 'Below Stairs', and the Chapel of St Paul in the grounds, takes approximately 1½ hours.

Other independent attractions within walking distance on the site include the Stansted Light Railway (02392 41 3324) and the Stansted House Garden Centre (02392 41 3090 - now under new management and undergoing refurbishment). Please note that Fridays and Saturdays are not normally available for group visits.
