The Pavilion Tea Room, Stansted House Garden Centre, chocolate and craft workshops, the grounds and Arboretum are open all year.
The Pantaloons [the Simpsons of Shakespeare] are back again! Wednesday 11th August 2010 at 7pm with "Much Ado About Nothing" : Three weddings ...and a funeral. It's all here in the Pantaloons' hilarious version of Shakespeare's comedy. NEW! Talks @ Two on Tuesdays. Every Tuesday at two o’clock you can join an expert talk about one of the aspects of Stansted House’s ‘upstairs –downstairs’ collections. Hear stories about real Irish Linen; Lovely Ladies; the travels of the 3rd Earl; 18th century intrigues; or what the Butler did! Enjoy an ‘extra’ @ 2pm on Tuesdays in June July and August when our guides will offer ‘ten-minute talks’ (with normal admission ticket).
